Returns & Refunds Policy

At Meowdel™,  we are committed to delivering high-quality fashion accessories designed for everyday wear and durability. This policy outlines how returns, refunds, and remedies are handled in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

1. Change of Mind

Due to hygiene and personal use considerations, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind on hair accessories, including claw clips.

We encourage you to review product details, sizing, and images carefully before completing your purchase.

The following items are not eligible for return, refund, or store credit for change of mind:

  • Sale, discounted, or promotional items
  • Gift cards
  • Free or gifted products
  • Items that do not meet the return condition requirements
  • International orders
  • hair accessories due to hygiene reason

2. Return Eligibility (Approved Returns Only)

Where a return is approved (e.g. faulty items), products must:

  • Be unused, unworn, and in original condition
  • Include original packaging
  • Not be damaged due to misuse or improper handling

Meowdel reserves the right to decline returns that do not meet these conditions.

3. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.

If your return is approved, you may:

  1. Receive a refund (if applicable), and
  2. Place a new order for your preferred item

This ensures faster processing and accurate stock availability.

4. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a remedy if a product:

  • Is faulty or defective
  • Is not as described
  • Is not of acceptable quality

If you believe your item is faulty or incorrect, please contact us within 14 days of delivery so we can assess the issue promptly.

To submit a claim, email info@meowdel.co with:

  • Your order number
  • A clear description of the issue
  • Clear photos and/or a short video showing the fault

This timeframe helps us assess items while they remain in near-new condition and does not limit your statutory rights.

5. Return Approval & Process

If your claim is approved:

  • We will provide return instructions and the return address
  • The item must be sent back within 7 business days of approval
  • Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted

6. Assessment & Remedies

All returns are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

If a product is confirmed to have a manufacturing fault, Meowdel will provide a remedy in line with the Australian Consumer Law, which may include:

  • Replacement
  • Repair (where applicable)
  • Refund

If the issue is found to be caused by:

  • Misuse or mishandling
  • Improper storage or care
  • Environmental exposure (e.g. heat, moisture)
  • Normal wear and tear

…a refund or replacement may not be provided.

7. Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is confirmed faulty
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method, Meowdel is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit

8. Right to Refuse Returns

We may decline returns that:

  • Were not approved prior to being sent
  • Are returned used, worn, damaged, or incomplete
  • Are sent outside the stated return timeframe
